Travel:
Less than 25% Boden Talent is partnering with a leading global organization to recruit an experienced Account Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead one of its most significant Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical client accounts. This executive leadership position is responsible for overseeing large-scale operations supporting a workforce of approximately 800-1,200 employees and managing account revenues of up to $500M. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across operational delivery, financial performance, client engagement, business growth, and organizational development. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead the successful delivery of services across a complex, multi-functional account. Develop and execute strategic and operational plans to drive performance, efficiency, and scalability. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence and achievement of client objectives. Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, service standards, and business requirements. Client Relationship Management Serve as the senior executive contact for our client, building trusted and long-term partnerships. Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to align services with evolving business priorities. Manage escalations, resolve complex challenges, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Identify opportunities for account growth and expanded service offerings. Leadership & Talent Development Provide leadership to a large, geographically dispersed workforce. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, coaching, and leadership development initiatives. Build organizational capability and strengthen leadership effectiveness across the account. Financial & Commercial Management Maintain full accountability for account financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and cost management. Drive commercial growth through strategic planning and account development initiatives. Ensure effective governance and reporting across all operational and financial activities. Transformation & Continuous Improvement Lead business transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and client outcomes. Utilize data, analytics, and industry best practices to support decision-making and innovation. Drive continuous improvement programs across service delivery functions. Candidate Requirements Education Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced business qualification preferred. Experience 12-15+ years of progressive leadership experience managing large-scale operations within an outsourced services environment. Proven experience leading large teams and complex client-facing operations. Demonstrated success managing strategic client accounts and achieving business growth objectives. Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Facilities Management, Integrated Services, or related sectors is advantageous. Skills & Competencies Strategic and transformational leadership capabilities. Strong commercial, financial, and operational acumen. Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to influence senior executives and C-suite stakeholders. Experience leading organizational change and business transformation programs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
