Job Description:
The Regional Vice President, Operations provides executive leadership for a large, multispecialty physician enterprise within a highly respected integrated healthcare system. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing operational, administrative, and clinical support functions across a significant regional market, supporting approximately 1,850 FTEs and approximately $290 million in annual revenue responsibility. Working in partnership with physician leadership and key stakeholders, the Regional Vice President is responsible for advancing physician engagement, operational excellence, quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, strategic growth initiatives, physician recruitment, and leadership development throughout the region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with physicians, operational leaders, service line leadership, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities. The Regional Vice President will inherit a strong operational foundation and experienced leadership team and will be expected to build upon that success while continuing to strengthen physician culture, foster collaboration, advance growth initiatives, and support organizational performance. Success in this role will require exceptional physician relationship management skills, executive presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to effectively navigate complex physician environments while leading through influence, trust, and accountability.
