Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Tirana, responsible for overseeing day-to-day trucking and logistics operations across the organization. This role drives operational efficiency, ensures service quality, and aligns operational practices with company goals and customer expectations. The Vice President Operations will lead and mentor operations teams, optimize routes and capacity, manage vendor and partner relationships, and implement best practices in safety, compliance, and performance management. The position includes ownership of operational budgeting and performance metrics, close collaboration with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, and coordination with sales and customer service to support profitable growth. The role also involves monitoring key operational KPIs, resolving escalated issues, and leading continuous improvement and process optimization projects. Qualifications Strong Operations Management experience, including oversight of daily logistics or transportation activities and process optimization. Proven P&L Management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve profitability. Demonstrated Customer Service orientation, including experience managing service levels and resolving escalated client issues. Strategic Planning capabilities, with experience setting operational priorities, scaling operations, and supporting long-term business goals. Project Management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives, implement new systems or processes, and drive continuous improvement. Prior leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or a related operations-heavy environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with comfort using data and KPIs for operational decisions. Excellent communication and people leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage. Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in trucking or logistics is highly beneficial.
