AKA:
Your Superpowers) Lead & Support Community Operations Serve as the Executive Director and primary operational leader for assigned communities during leadership transitions Partner with community leadership teams to establish priorities and operational goals aligned with HDG's Caring Above and Beyond philosophy Provide hands-on leadership and support to ensure continuity of operations, resident satisfaction, and team engagement Build strong relationships with residents, families, team members, clients, and community stakeholders Drive Operational & Financial Performance Monitor community performance against key operational, financial, and quality metrics Develop action plans to improve outcomes and achieve organizational goals Provide oversight and direction related to: Census and revenue management Expense management Sales and marketing initiatives Workforce and people leadership Clinical quality outcomes Regulatory compliance Ensure Clinical & Regulatory Excellence Partner closely with operational and clinical leadership to maintain survey readiness and regulatory compliance Collaborate with Regional Directors of Operations, Clinical Leaders, and People & Culture partners to support community success Stay informed on industry trends, legislative changes, and regulatory requirements affecting senior living and healthcare operations Support Growth & Organizational Development Assist with onboarding and coaching new Executive Directors Support operational assessments, turnaround initiatives, survey preparedness efforts, and performance improvement projects Contribute to the development and enhancement of operational systems and best practices across the organization Partner with executive leadership to support growth initiatives, acquisitions, and newly managed communities What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Passion for Senior Care) Educational & Professional Background Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or a related field required Graduate degree preferred Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) preferred Assisted Living licensure (LALD/AL) or ability to obtain licensure in applicable states Healthcare Services Executive (HSE) credential preferred Leadership & Operational Expertise Minimum of 8 years experience in leadership role(s) within healthcare communities Minimum 5 years experience in Skilled Nursing and/or Assisted Living leadership experience Previous multi-site or regional leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance Strategic Leadership Skills Proven ability to lead teams through change and operational challenges Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership development capabilities Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple communities, priorities, and projects simultaneously Highly self-directed with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Travel & Flexibility Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned markets and communities Open to supporting communities across HDG's current and future markets Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities Ability to travel up to 80% Perks & Benefits (Because You Deserve It!)
