The Opportunity The Vice President of Strategic Initiatives will serve as a trusted partner to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), acting as both a strategic thought partner and execution leader across a wide range of high-impact initiatives. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role designed for someone who can take limited direction, quickly synthesize complex challenges, and drive initiatives forward across multiple functions. You will help bring structure to challenges, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring key priorities are executed effectively across the organization. This role requires a unique blend of program management, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution , often shifting between all three in real time. Your Primary Responsibilities Program Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across payer relations, compliance, operations, and leadership teams Act as a central point of coordination across initiatives. Drive alignment across senior leaders, often with competing priorities, to move initiatives forward Establish clear communication cadences, ownership structures, and accountability frameworks Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies Execution & Operational Ownership Translate high-level strategic direction into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables Take ownership of initiatives with minimal direction, driving them from concept through execution Identify opportunities to improve workflows, clarity, and operational efficiency Ensure initiatives stay on track by removing blockers, following up with stakeholders, and maintaining momentum This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Strategy & Problem Solving Partner directly with the CSO to evaluate opportunities, assess trade-offs, and recommend decision paths Bring a structured, consultative approach to solving complex business challenges Quickly get up to speed on new domains by asking the right questions and synthesizing information effectively Support strategic initiatives related to payer coverage, partnerships, and organizational priorities Contribute to executive-level presentations, planning discussions, and long-term strategic initiatives Governance, Process & Organizational Effectiveness Introduce structure and scalable processes to support evolving business needs Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and operational discipline across key initiatives Introduce programmatic approaches to managing work across teams and functions Improve organizational efficiency by reducing bottlenecks and increasing clarity across initiatives Compliance and Professional Responsibilities Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
