Multiple Directors About the Role ProVantage and InDemand deliver solutions across multiple client sites at all times, at national scale. Our President is strong in sales and relationships. We are hiring an operations leader who brings strong operating chops and can integrate execution from the top all the way down to the field rep at the site. This role is accountable for building a reliable operating system that improves gross margin and customer satisfaction through disciplined standards, clean handoffs, and verified measurement. What You'll Own Lead nationwide operations across all 50 states with consistent execution and client experience. Build and run the operating cadence: daily project updates, weekly operating reviews that measure incremental progress and quarterly resource planing. Tighten integration between bidding to scheduling/resource planning to field execution (clear handoffs, decision rights, fast escalation).
Own the operations scoreboard:
Gross Margin Field Leadership Execution Customer Reviews / Client Experience Back Office Team Management Future Planning & Capacity Needs Safety / Quality / Training (standards, adoption, verification) Partner deeply in bidding/estimating and execution planning to ensure assumptions protect margin. Lead and develop our Directors and the broader field leadership bench. Drive operational tool/process adoption (systems usage, visibility, accountability, consistency). Qualifications 8-10+ years of operations leadership in field-heavy environments (retail services, installations, construction-adjacent, staffing-driven execution). 3-5+ years leading leaders (Director-level or equivalent) in a distributed/nationwide setting. Demonstrated success improving gross margin and customer outcomes/reviews through operational discipline.
Strong financial acumen:
estimating alignment, cost controls, margin drivers, variance ownership. Ownership mindset for Safety/Quality/Training standards and adoption across a geographically dispersed workforce. Based in/relocatable to Raleigh, NC; comfortable with ~20% travel.
Preferred:
MBA and/or Project Management certification Experience driving operational systems/ERP adoption to lift gross margin and customer reviews through consistency and reduced rework.
