Chief Operating Officer - Cheshire Medical Center 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756 Full-time Dartmouth-Hitchcock 17 reviews Full-time Overview Chief Operating Officer Cheshire Medical Center Dartmouth Health Dartmouth Health is pleased to announce a national search for the next Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, New Hampshire. Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a collaborative leader who can promote partnerships and guide the planning of both short- and long-term strategic goals. Successful candidates will be able to develop critical trust and will be passionate about mentoring developing leaders throughout the organization. Reporting primarily to the President and CEO of Cheshire Medical Center with a secondary reporting relationship to the Dartmouth Health System COO, the Cheshire COO will provide operational leadership for the hospital's acute care services, ambulatory practices, IT, Marketing, Facilities, and all ancillary services. They will also work with other system leaders to execute Dartmouth Health integration efforts, particularly in terms of service line integration alongside the CMO and through assessments of the technological and financial systems at Cheshire. The COO will lead and manage Cheshire's Senior Leadership team and will serve as the ultimate organization leader in the event of the CEO's absence. They will work in partnership with the Cheshire CEO on the organization's three-year strategic plan as well as overseeing the development of aligned annual operating plans. They will work with other senior leaders to act on regional growth opportunities identified in the planning process. In addition, the COO will advise the CEO and Philanthropy staff on organization philanthropic needs while coordinating with the Cheshire Health Foundation Board.
Minimum qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a master's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of health care management experience is required. Experience in the community, non-profit hospital environment and within a complex health system is preferred.
