Job Description:
The Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Vice President Operations/Chief of staff for a medical device company in the Portsmouth, NH area. This is an on-site position Full-time/perm No 3rd party applicants will be considered Key Responsibilities Partner with executive leadership to prioritize strategic initiatives and ensure progress against key business objectives. Drive cross-functional coordination across areas such as R D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, and Supply Chain. Support operational planning, KPI tracking, and organizational prioritization to improve execution and decision-making. Assist with preparation for key business and regulatory milestones. Support organizational growth through recruiting coordination, onboarding, and culture-building initiatives. Lead special projects, strategic partnerships, vendor coordination, and executive-level initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (business, engineering, life sciences, or related field). 7+ years of experience within biotech, medtech, pharma, or broader life sciences environments, ideally in high-growth or start-up settings. Strong understanding of product development and regulated environments. Familiarity with quality, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Highly organized with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing across teams without direct authority.
