Govig Healthcare, the exclusive executive search firm, is searching for an Executive Directo r for a senior living community in Staten Island, New York . This leadership opportunity is ideal for a results-driven senior living professional who is passionate about creating exceptional resident experiences, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence. The Executive Director will provide overall leadership for the community, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and resident satisfaction while fostering a positive culture for residents, families, and associates. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for daily community operations. Ensure exceptional resident care, service, and satisfaction across all departments. Drive occupancy growth through collaboration with sales and marketing teams. Develop, mentor, and support department leaders and team members. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and revenue goals. Foster strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and the local community. Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement operational best practices. Partner with regional leadership to execute strategic objectives and achieve community goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience within senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related service industry. Proven experience managing operations, budgets, and team performance. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within senior living. Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Strong financial acumen and business management capabilities. Ability to effectively balance resident care, employee engagement, and operational performance. Results-oriented leader with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
