Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, the VP of Operations will oversee a portfolio of approximately ten to twelve senior housing communities and actively manage all aspects of the communities' operations in partnership with other corporate discipline leaders. The VP of Operations will also be expected to ensure that each community embraces the Arbor Service Way culture for our residents, their families, our fellow staff members and guests. As a member of the corporate team, he or she will work collaboratively to develop corporate initiatives, participate in community and company strategic planning, and work with investors and ownership groups to enhance and grow the Arbor Company reputation and brand.
Qualifications and Abilities:
Undergraduate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing and/or similar fields; advanced degree a plus 10+ years experience in senior living to include independent living, assisted living and memory care Polished written and verbal communication style and ability to interact well with sophisticated, institutional investors Ability to perform financial analysis including ROI, IRR, discounted cash flow modeling and budgeting Successful and quantifiable track record managing a multi-community portfolio of senior living communities which includes new opening and turnaround experience Strong mentoring and coaching skills; ability to inspire and develop others Willingness and ability to travel at least 60% of the time Love what you do and where you work at The Arbor Company.
