Job Description:
Trueline's client, a fast-growing residential exterior remodeling company, is seeking a VP of Residential Operations to join its executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the COO, this role will oversee Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Project Inspectors while driving operational excellence across field operations, project execution, and customer delivery. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced operator who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to help scale a growing organization. What You'll Do as the
VP of Residential Operations:
Report directly to the COO and serve as a key member of the leadership team Lead and develop Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Project Inspectors across multiple projects and markets Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget Drive operational consistency, accountability, and performance across all project execution functions Develop and implement scalable processes that improve customer experience, production efficiency, and profitability Establish and monitor KPIs related to production, quality, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and margin performance Partner closely with sales, production, and executive leadership to align operational execution with company growth objectives Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that support continued expansion Build, mentor, and retain high-performing operational teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Ensure operational excellence from project kickoff through final inspection and customer completion Must-Haves as the
VP of Residential Operations:
Residential TI or Remodeling Experience Proven executive or senior operations leadership experience within residential exterior remodeling, roofing, siding, windows, or related services Strong background leading field operations and managing project-based teams Experience overseeing Project Managers and operational leaders across multiple concurrent projects Demonstrated success improving operational performance, scalability, profitability, and customer outcomes Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and develop teams Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and operational performance metrics Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Nice-to-Haves as the
VP of Residential Operations:
Background working within a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or private equity-backed environment Experience implementing operational systems, workflows, and process improvements at scale Familiarity with project management, CRM, or construction management software platforms Multi-location operational leadership experience
