Full-Time Position Overview Gluska is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations across all company brands and business divisions. This executive leader will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving profitability, implementing scalable systems, and ensuring alignment between departments including sales, marketing, retail, wholesale, logistics, customer service, finance, and human resources. The ideal candidate is both a visionary leader and an operational executor who can translate company goals into measurable results while building accountability and efficiency throughout the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Partner with ownership to develop and execute the company's strategic vision. Establish operational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics across all brands. Drive business growth initiatives and identify opportunities for increased revenue and profitability. Evaluate organizational structure and implement improvements to support scalability. Operations Management Oversee day-to-day operations across retail, wholesale, e-commerce, distribution, logistics, and support functions. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational best practices. Ensure operational efficiency, quality control, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity. Team Leadership Lead and mentor department managers and key personnel. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and establish clear performance expectations. Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and workforce planning efforts. Financial Oversight Collaborate with finance and ownership to manage budgets and operational expenses. Monitor profitability, margins, inventory controls, and operational costs. Analyze performance reports and implement corrective actions when necessary. Support forecasting and long-term business planning. Process Improvement Implement systems and technology to improve reporting, communication, and efficiency. Develop dashboards and reporting structures for leadership visibility. Drive automation and process optimization initiatives across all departments. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Monitor operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain strong internal controls and operational governance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field preferred. 7+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, business management, or executive leadership. Experience overseeing multiple business units, brands, or locations. Proven track record of scaling operations and improving organizational performance. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Experience with retail, wholesale, distribution, e-commerce, consumer products, or regulated industries is highly preferred.
