DBJ Wealth Management (Financial Firm
  • Northwestern Mutual Network Partner) Position Overview The Integrator at DBJ Wealth Management is the operational leader responsible for driving execution, accountability, and alignment across the firm.
Serving as the day-to-day business leader (often equivalent to a Chief Operating Officer ), the Integrator ensures DBJ's vision, growth strategy, and financial objectives are executed efficiently while maintaining compliance with Northwestern Mutual standards and the broader regulatory environment. This role partners closely with the firm's Visionary/Founder and Others , translating ideas, growth initiatives, and strategic goals into structured plans that keep advisors, staff, and leadership aligned—all without disrupting production, client experience, or team morale. Core Purpose of the Role To run the business so advisors and leaders can focus on clients and growth , ensuring DBJ Wealth Management operates as one integrated, disciplined, and high-performing firm. Key Responsibilities Business Execution & Operational Leadership Own execution of DBJ Wealth Management's annual and quarterly business plans Ensure consistent adherence to the firm's operating system (EOS®) Translate vision and growth initiatives into clear priorities, timelines, and accountability Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and consistency Drive completion of firm-wide Rocks, initiatives, and projects Leadership & Accountability Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable to results Facilitate effective leadership team meetings, including Level 10 Meetings Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations across advisors and staff Address operational, personnel, and process issues quickly and directly Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement Visionary Partnership Serve as the primary operational partner to DBJ's Visionary/Managing Partner(s) Harness entrepreneurial ideas into actionable, prioritized execution plans Filter and sequence initiatives to protect advisors' productivity and client focus Balance innovation, growth, and operational discipline in a regulated environment Functional Integration Integrate core functions including: Advisor support & practice management Operations & administration Marketing & growth initiatives Finance, compensation, and performance tracking Ensure strong collaboration between advisors, staff, and leadership Eliminate silos and improve communication firm-wide Compliance & Risk Awareness Partner with compliance and Northwestern Mutual requirements to ensure initiatives are executed within guidelines Build operational processes that support consistency, oversight, and audit-readiness Balance firm growth with risk management and regulatory discipline Who the Integrator Works With Visionary / Managing Partner(s) (closest working relationship) Leadership Team (Operations, Advisor Development, Marketing, Finance, etc.) Advisors and key staff as an escalation and alignment leader Northwestern Mutual partners and internal resources (as needed) In DBJ's advisor-driven model, the Integrator ensures that growth initiatives and operational changes enhance—not disrupt—advisor success and client service.   • Thrives on getting things done, not just planning Skills & Capabilities Required Leadership & Management Proven experience leading leaders, advisors, or senior professionals Ability to influence without authority in an advisor-centric environment Strong coaching and performance management skills Execution & Organization Exceptional project management and follow-through Ability to prioritize competing initiatives without disrupting production Comfortable managing across sales, operations, and service functions Communication Clear, confident, and concise communicator Skilled at facilitating meetings and driving decisions Able to translate strategy into simple, actionable direction Business & Financial Acumen Strong understanding of financial services operations (preferred) Experience working within regulated environments Familiarity with compensation models, productivity metrics, and growth tracking EOS® experience strongly preferred Relationship & Change Management High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution capability Skilled at leading organizational change thoughtfully and effectively Able to align entrepreneurial leaders under a unified execution plan
