Job Description
Position Overview We are conducting a search for an experienced and strategic Beverage Director to lead and elevate the beverage program across a dynamic, multi-outlet operation. This role will oversee all aspects of beverage strategy, including cocktail development, wine and spirits programming, vendor partnerships, cost control, and team leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of creative vision and operational discipline, with a deep understanding of luxury service standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive beverage strategy across multiple venues Oversee all cocktail, wine, and spirits programs, ensuring consistency and innovation Lead and mentor bar teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability Manage purchasing, inventory, and cost control, ensuring profitability targets are met Build and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors, and brand partners Ensure compliance with all SLA regulations and company policies Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and operations teams on programming and activations Drive revenue through menu development, promotions, and guest engagement initiatives Monitor industry trends and continuously evolve the beverage program Please note that responsibilities are not all-encompassing and may evolve based on business needs. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a senior beverage leadership role within restaurant, luxury hospitality or high-volume nightlife environments Strong expertise in cocktail development, wine, and spirits Proven track record of driving revenue and managing costs Experience overseeing multi-outlet beverage operations Strong leadership and team development skills Deep understanding of New York State liquor laws (SLA) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Schedule Expectations This role requires full flexibility, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, aligned with the operational needs of a restaurant business.
