Founding Head of Broker Operations - Merchant Cash Advance (MCA)

About the Opportunity We are launching a Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) brokerage platform and are seeking a senior MCA operations leader to design, build, and scale our broker-side infrastructure from the ground up. This is a founding-level role for an experienced professional who has worked directly within an MCA brokerage environment and understands the mechanics of broker deal flow, funder relationships, submission optimization, and operational scaling. This is not a general operations position. Direct Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) brokerage experience is required. Applicants without MCA experience will not be considered. Your Mandate You will architect and lead the entire broker operations function, including: Designing the end-to-end deal submission pipeline from intake to funding Building SOPs for document collection, stacking analysis, verification, and quality control Establishing funder allocation strategy to optimize approval rates and turnaround times Creating reporting infrastructure to track submission volume, approval ratios, renewal rates, and operational KPIs Implementing CRM systems and workflow automation tailored to MCA brokerage operations Designing scalable internal controls to support growth in monthly deal volume Core Responsibilities Broker Deal Flow & Submission Infrastructure Oversee high-volume broker submission pipelines Implement submission standards that maximize funder approvals Manage real-time communication between brokers and funding partners Monitor deal aging and pipeline velocity Funder Relationship & Allocation Strategy Maintain and strengthen relationships with MCA funders Optimize deal placement across funding partners based on risk appetite and performance Track funder approval rates and submission efficiency Scaling & Operational Architecture Build the operational framework required to scale broker submissions to multi-million-dollar monthly volume Implement MCA-specific CRM platforms (Centrex, CloudMyBiz, Fundingo, etc.) Design workflow automation to reduce friction and improve processing speed Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting Team Leadership Recruit, train, and manage broker operations staff Establish performance metrics and accountability standards Ensure compliance with UCC filing procedures and documentation requirements Required Experience 5+ years of direct experience within Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) brokerage operations Proven experience building or scaling MCA broker-side operations Demonstrated experience working directly with MCA funders Deep understanding of deal stacking, submission packaging, and funder requirements Experience implementing or managing MCA CRM platforms Strong leadership and operational design capabilities Preferred Experience scaling monthly broker submissions to $3M+ volume Familiarity with ISO management structures Background in revenue-based financing or alternative lending Why This Role Founding-level opportunity with significant operational authority Ability to build infrastructure from inception Competitive base compensation + performance incentives tied to growth Direct impact on the trajectory of a new MCA brokerage platform Apply Today — Submit your resume highlighting your experience in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) brokerage.
