Job Description
Position Summary The Director of Acacia Village is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, strategic direction, and daily operations of The Neighborhoods at Acacia Village, an independent living community within the Masonic Care Community campus. This position provides executive-level oversight of resident services, occupancy management, operational performance, financial stewardship, employee leadership, regulatory compliance, community relations, and resident satisfaction initiatives. The Director serves as the primary operational leader for Acacia Village and works collaboratively with campus leadership, residents, families, community partners, and the Board of Trustees to ensure a high-quality resident experience aligned with the mission, values, and strategic goals of the Masonic Care Community. This position requires exceptional professionalism, executive presence, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to effectively coordinate with executive leadership, Trustees, residents, families, and external stakeholders while maintaining operational excellence and resident-centered service delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Administration Direct and oversee all operational functions of The Neighborhoods at Acacia Village, including resident services, activities, leasing, occupancy management, housekeeping coordination, billing support, customer service, and administrative operations. Ensure high standards of resident satisfaction, safety, hospitality, and operational efficiency across all departments and service areas. Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and accountability to Acacia Village employees and supervisors. Develop operational goals, performance standards, staffing plans, and department objectives aligned with organizational priorities. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with departments across the Masonic Care Community campus. Collaborate with Human Resources regarding staffing needs, employee relations matters, performance management, corrective action, and workforce planning initiatives. Support executive-level coordination, leadership communications, institutional initiatives, and Trustee-related activities while maintaining a high level of professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality. Participate in organizational strategic planning initiatives, executive leadership meetings, operational committees, and special projects. Resident Relations & Community Engagement Foster a positive, welcoming, and resident-centered environment that promotes quality of life and resident engagement. Investigate, resolve, and document resident, family, and visitor concerns in a timely and professional manner. Maintain strong resident communication through meetings, notices, newsletters, resident handbook updates, and other communication channels. Support resident retention and occupancy initiatives through exceptional customer service and relationship management. Represent Acacia Village and Masonic Care Community at professional, civic, marketing, and community events to promote positive public relations and community engagement. Occupancy, Leasing & Marketing Oversee occupancy management, leasing activity, unit turnover coordination, prospect tours, and move-in/move-out processes. Maintain census and occupancy reporting, including forecasting future vacancies and occupancy trends. Collaborate with plant operations and support departments to prioritize rental unit readiness and resident transitions. Support marketing initiatives, community outreach efforts, promotional events, and website coordination with contracted marketing partners. Assist in developing strategies to enhance occupancy, resident recruitment, and market competitiveness. Financial & Budget Management Develop, monitor, and manage departmental and operational budgets for Acacia Village. Monitor revenue, expenses, occupancy trends, and operational financial performance. Prepare and submit census reports, occupancy reports, operational statistics, financial summaries, and other reports as requested by executive leadership and the Board of Trustees. Coordinate with finance and operational departments regarding resident billing for services, upgrades, damages, dining services, housekeeping support, and other applicable charges. Ensure timely processing of resident billing adjustments and security deposit reconciliations. Regulatory Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to Fair Housing, ADA requirements, Life Safety Codes, workplace safety, and operational standards. Collaborate with support departments to maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and employees. Assist with emergency preparedness planning, safety initiatives, and operational risk management activities. Maintain operational policies, procedures, resident guidelines, and departmental practices in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Leadership & Staff Development Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, coaching, and support to assigned employees and department personnel. Conduct performance evaluations, employee coaching, corrective action collaboration, and performance improvement discussions in partnership with Human Resources. Promote employee engagement, teamwork, accountability, and professional growth. Encourage participation in wellness initiatives, employee recognition programs, and organizational culture initiatives. Provide operational support and backup coverage as necessary to ensure continuity of services and resident satisfaction.
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:
