Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing investment firm and play a key role in its continued expansion. Reporting directly to the COO, this role oversees the full trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes for a diverse set of non‑profit clients. With the operations team actively growing, it's a dynamic moment to step in and make a meaningful impact. Management experience is preferred, as the position offers the chance to help shape and elevate the team during an important period of growth. In this role you will be responsible for: Oversee the firm's trade execution process, coordinating closely with custodians and operations analysts to ensure timely and accurate settlement. Supervise daily cash‑inflow reporting and drive process improvements to ensure all stakeholders receive accurate and timely information to support trading activity. Collaborate with Advisor teams on non‑discretionary trading needs, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Partner with Portfolio Management and Advisors to implement model portfolios in Black Diamond and manage trading activities resulting from model updates. Prepare reports and communicate key insights and trends related to trading activity to firm leadership. Mentor and train operations analysts involved in the trading platform, supporting skill development and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. 8+ years of experience in trading, investment operations, or managing financial‑technology platforms. Extensive experience with portfolio accounting systems; familiarity with Black Diamond or Tamarac is preferred. Strong knowledge of alternative investments, including private capital and hedge fund structures. Deep understanding of valuation processes, the full transaction lifecycle, security master data, and portfolio operations.
