PRECISION MEDICINE BUSINESS MANAGER
The Christ Hospital Health Network - 3.2 Cincinnati, OH Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Delegation Full Job Description The Business Manager drives strategic initiatives and business functions and ensures support of organizational goals and objectives by providing overall leadership and management of strategic planning, financial and business operations and administration for service lines or specialty areas.
Financial Management :
Develop, assess and continuously monitor annual and capital budgets, analyze and evaluate financial performance, identify, diagnose and resolve variances, report financial and programmatic results to key stakeholders and senior/executive leadership, create and monitor productivity metrics. Partner with Revenue Cycle team to effectively implement programs and processes to optimize revenue throughout end-to-end revenue cycle process. Partner with Supply Chain team to lead supply chain initiatives and ensure proper controls exist. Follow TCHHN's spend policies to serve as a liaison for the acquisition of supplies.
Business/Program Operations :
Play a key role in strategic development, programmatic growth and implementation across the network. Evaluate and report on programmatic goals and financials to senior and executive leadership and steering committees. Develop and oversee business processes to optimize efficiency for physicians, patients and staff. Oversee weekly staff meetings. Manage workflow to ensure timely and high-quality work across team to achieve desired outcomes. Identify opportunities for improvement across all business processes, including growth, and cost savings and recommend/execute improvement tactics as necessary. Evaluate strategic opportunities with employers and providers, including value-based care initiatives. Manage and support funded projects, initiatives, and proposals; ensure regulatory compliance. Execute operational procedures to monitor and report revenue and expense information based on monthly and quarterly reports of expenditures. Direct, establish and monitor business processes. Set the tone for meeting and exceeding our core values among all staff.
Leadership :
Lead development and implementation of strategic plans and for the program. Partner with stakeholders across the network for strategic growth and implementation. In collaboration with senior leadership, support the overall employee life cycle from selection, onboarding, hiring, developing, coaching, evaluating, completing performance appraisals, administering disciplinary action, and conducting terminations. Responsible for delegating work to staff and hold staff accountable to perform at a high standard to achieve departmental objectives and goals. Other duties as assigned.
Compliance :
Ensure compliance with applicable financial and business operations policies, processes and procedures, including external sponsor guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership skills, expert level Microsoft Office skills, excellent attention to detail and presentation skills. Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare setting with providers, administration, and staff. Experience with leadership and staff supervision, strategic planning and implementation within and across service lines, financial reporting, operations, and budgeting in a in a complex healthcare setting.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree Required, Masters Degree preferred, in Healthcare Administration, Accounting or Related Field
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
5 years related work experience required
