Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize our organization's core functions. In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence, oversee company-wide projects, and develop innovative strategies that will propel the B-to-C company forward. Your leadership will ensure seamless processes, foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, and align operational goals with overall business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to shape the future of our organization through impactful decision-making and execution. Responsibilities Implement the company's growth strategy, including sales, operational efficiency, and merchandising and inventory modernization. Directly manage several general managers. Build a strong, accountable leadership team and culture. Drive change management initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and organizational agility. Collaborate with the owner on the development of budgets and financial plans that align with strategic priorities. Oversee project management efforts ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence across multiple initiatives. Improve inventory control, delivery performance, warehouse organization, and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven expertise in retail, and operations management within a lower middle market business. Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising diverse teams, ability to lead by KPIs, and an ability to foster a collaborative environment, process improvement, program management, and retail business development. Excellent communication skills to articulate vision clearly and motivate teams towards shared goals. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs through innovative problem-solving and proactive planning.
