Summary Join Aero Global Logistics as the Vice President of Operations in the Columbus, OH area. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive operational excellence and innovation to support our mission of efficient, data-driven logistics solutions. Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics processes and expand operational capabilities.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leadership.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and data analytics to enhance productivity.
  • Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards. Qualifications
  • Experience:
    Five to ten years of proven experience in senior operations management within the DDS logistics and transportation industry.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Travel:
    Willing to travel frequently for assignments (approximately 75%).
  • Leadership:
    Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Business Skills:
    Proficient in negotiation, business development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Project Management:
    Experienced with project management methodologies and process improvement initiatives.
