Job Description

With a strong internal leader stepping into a new opportunity, Willow Brook Run is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the overall operations of our Delaware, Ohio campus. This is a rare opportunity to serve in a thriving, notforprofit senior living community that includes independent homes and apartments, assisted living, and memory care. Willow Brook Run is known for its stable, longtenured leadership team, beautifully maintained campus, and longstanding reputation for excellence. The campus is conveniently located just west of downtown Delaware on State Route 36. The Executive Director's primary responsibility is fostering strong, trusted relationships with residents and their families, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and confident in the care and community life at Willow Brook Run. As the visible leader and primary advocate for the campus, the Executive Director models a residentcentered culture rooted in dignity, respect, and open communication. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director also provides strategic and operational leadership for the campus, including oversight of resident wellbeing, campus operations, financial performance, personnel leadership, and community engagement. This role oversees physical plant operations, prepares and manages the annual budget, reviews monthly financials, and advises the CEO on short and longterm organizational needs. The Executive Director hires and leads key campus team members, ensures regulatory compliance, oversees construction and refurbishment projects, and actively promotes strong relationships with healthcare partners, community organizations, and the public. A commitment to integrity, Residents' Rights, and dignity is essential.
Qualifications:
ED will bring proven experience in financial management and operational leadership, along with strong communication skills and a warm, approachable leadership style. The ideal candidate is adaptable, confident in decision making, and comfortable serving as a highly visible leader to residents, families, staff, and the broader community. A college degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred. Qualified candidates must have proven, successful experience as an Executive Director in a senior living community, preferably in a not-for-profit setting.
