The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in leading daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to support the company's ongoing growth and reputation for innovation. About the Position This position is a senior C-suite executive who serves as the second-in-command to the CEO . The COO focuses on overseeing and executing the day-to-day operations of an organization, turning high-level strategy into practical, efficient execution. While the CEO typically handles long-term vision, external relations, and overall direction, the COO ensures internal operations run smoothly to support those goals.
Salary Range:
$150,000-$200,000 (based on experience) with performance-based bonuses.
Brooks, Oregon Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day operations, including production, fabrication, logistics, and quality control Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals Monitor key performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term business strategies Translate strategic plans into actionable operational objectives Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation Partner with finance to analyze financial performance and improve profitability Drive efficiency initiatives to meet or exceed financial targets Implement lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies Oversee quality assurance programs and continuous improvement systems Support business development and customer satisfaction initiatives Strengthen relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred) 10+ years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments Proven track record of operational excellence and scaling business operations Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Strategic thinking and execution abilities Expertise in team development and change management Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
