Build the Operational Engine Behind a High-Growth Law Firm Hirsch Law Group is a fast-paced, rapidly growing law firm where strong operations directly impact client service, team performance, and long-term growth. As the firm continues to scale, we need a COO who can bring structure, accountability, clarity, and discipline to the business without slowing down the entrepreneurial energy that got us here. This role is about building the operational engine behind the firm: better systems, stronger workflows, clearer reporting, tighter execution, improved communication, and scalable leadership infrastructure. The COO will help ensure that every department has the tools, processes, and accountability needed to perform at a high level. For a firm serving clients during some of the most stressful moments of their lives, operational excellence matters. Strong internal systems create better client experiences, more consistent communication, stronger team performance, and a business that can continue growing responsibly. Hirsch Law Group | Chicagoland Area | Full-Time Executive Leadership Hirsch Law Group is seeking a proven Chief Operating Officer to help scale and professionalize a fast-growing entrepreneurial law firm operating at approximately a $10MM annual revenue run rate. This is not an office manager role. This is not an administrative support role. This is not a "keep the trains moving" position. We are looking for a true operator who can elevate the business, strengthen operational performance, and build the infrastructure required for our next stage of growth.
Our firm has experienced significant growth across criminal defense, traffic, and immigration law. We are now entering the next stage of growth and need an executive leader capable of building operational structures, accountability systems, leadership discipline, KPI visibility, scalable infrastructure, and financial clarity — while preserving the relaxed culture around entrepreneurial energy that built the business.

The right COO will have the opportunity to help shape not only operations, but the future structure, leadership, and scalability of the firm itself. This is a role for someone who wants to leave a lasting imprint on a growing business. WHO WE ARE
Hirsch Law Group was built to help people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We represent real people with real problems — people concerned about their future, their family, their freedom, their immigration status, their license, or their livelihood. We take that responsibility seriously. We are ambitious. We move fast. We are growth-oriented. But we care deeply about the kind of people we build this business with. We believe strong cultures are built through: Mutual respect Clear accountability Calm leadership under pressure Team-first thinking Consistency and reliability Professionalism without ego We want good people with good hearts who genuinely want to help others. We believe high accountability and kindness can coexist. We believe strong leadership does not require toxicity. We believe operational excellence matters because clients deserve consistency, communication, and professionalism during stressful moments in their lives. This is not a "clock in and coast" environment. We work hard. We care about results. We push for growth and improvement. But we also want people who are emotionally stable, team-oriented, honest, and capable of building trust with both clients and coworkers.
The right people here are:
Problem solvers Builders Accountable Calm under pressure Emotionally mature Team players Mission-oriented We are building a serious organization with long-term goals, but we want to do it with people we enjoy working with. That matters to us.
What Success Looks Like:
Strong operational leadership across all departments Clear accountability systems and performance management infrastructure Consistent KPI visibility and executive reporting Improved operational efficiency and scalability across the organization Strong hiring, onboarding, and management systems Effective cross-department communication and execution Financial discipline, operational clarity, and resource optimization Preservation of the firm's entrepreneurial culture while increasing organizational maturity Measurable support of the firm's continued growth and long-term strategic objectives Why Join Hirsch Law Group? Because this is an opportunity to actually build. Most operational leadership roles are maintenance jobs inside slow-moving organizations. This is different. We are a fast-growing founder-led law firm with real momentum, ambitious growth goals, and the willingness to invest in infrastructure, systems, people, and leadership to reach the next level. We are looking for a COO who wants: Real responsibility Real influence Real operational ownership A seat at the table The ability to shape how a growing organization scales This is a business where your work will matter immediately. You will not spend years fighting corporate layers to make changes. You will work directly with ownership to improve operations, create accountability, strengthen leadership systems, and help build a more scalable organization. The environment is entrepreneurial, fast-moving, evolving, ambitious, and highly growth-oriented. For the right operator, this is a chance to help transform a growing law firm into a significantly larger and more sophisticated organization over the next several years.
