Chin, KIC Ventures develops and commercializes differentiated technologies in spine surgery, biologics, outpatient LESS Exposure Spine Surgery solutions, and advanced medical devices through its portfolio companies including AxioMed and

Ventures combines medicine, engineering, entrepreneurship, and private equity to create scalable healthcare technologies designed to shape the future of spine and orthopedic care. Job Summary KIC Ventures is seeking a highly entrepreneurial, strategic, and execution focused President to help lead the next phase of growth for the firm and its portfolio companies. The President will work directly alongside the CEO and Founder, Dr. Kingsley R. Chin, to drive corporate strategy, capital raising, operational leadership, and value creation across the KIC Ventures portfolio. This executive will serve as a key leader responsible for accelerating growth initiatives, building strategic partnerships, supporting fundraising activities, and overseeing the operational performance of portfolio companies. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and business acumen with leadership experience in private equity, venture capital, healthcare, medical technology, or high growth entrepreneurial companies. The President will help bridge investment strategy with operational execution while positioning KIC Ventures for long term enterprise growth and future strategic exits. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Corporate Growth (35%) Corporate Strategy Partner with the CEO to develop and execute the long term vision, growth strategy, and operational priorities of KIC Ventures and its portfolio companies. Business Development Drive strategic growth initiatives including: Strategic partnerships Licensing opportunities Distribution relationships Joint ventures Acquisitions and expansion opportunities Organizational Leadership Help build and scale operational infrastructure, leadership systems, and processes to support rapid company growth. Executive Decision Making Serve as a senior leader helping guide strategic decisions across operations, investments, commercialization, and expansion initiatives. 2. Capital Raising & Investor Relations (30%) Fundraising Leadership Work alongside the CEO in leading capital raising initiatives for KIC Ventures and its portfolio companies, including institutional financing, strategic investments, and growth capital opportunities. Investor Relationships Develop and maintain relationships with: Institutional investors Family offices Strategic corporate partners High net worth investors Venture capital and private equity firms Investment bankers and strategic advisors Investment Communications Assist in developing investor presentations, pitch materials, financial communications, and strategic messaging aligned with the company's long term vision and valuation growth objectives. Strategic Partnerships Identify and cultivate relationships with global healthcare companies, distributors, and investment partners to accelerate commercialization and enterprise value growth. 3. Portfolio Company Oversight & Value Creation (25%) Operational Performance Work closely with portfolio company leadership teams to improve operational efficiency, scalability, revenue growth, and profitability. Commercialization Strategy Support the execution of commercialization initiatives including: Product launches Market expansion Physician adoption strategies International growth opportunities Strategic distribution initiatives Leadership Development Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and developing executive leadership talent across portfolio companies. Exit Strategy Support Collaborate with leadership teams on strategic planning for acquisitions, licensing transactions, strategic partnerships, IPO readiness, or other liquidity opportunities designed to maximize shareholder value. 4. Leadership & Culture (10%) Team Development Help foster a high performance entrepreneurial culture focused on accountability, innovation, collaboration, and disciplined execution. Cross Functional Leadership Coordinate effectively across clinical, engineering, commercialization, regulatory, operational, and financial teams. Corporate Representation Represent KIC Ventures at investor meetings, conferences, strategic partner discussions, and industry events. Required Qualifications 10+ years of leadership experience in private equity, venture capital, healthcare, medical technology, investment banking, or high growth entrepreneurial companies Prior experience serving in a C-suite leadership role, including President, CEO, COO, CFO, or equivalent executive position Proven track record of raising institutional or growth capital, including experience raising more than $20 million Demonstrated experience leading strategic growth initiatives and operational execution Experience participating in or leading a successful company exit, acquisition, or major liquidity event Strong understanding of investor relations, corporate finance, and strategic partnerships Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced growth environment Preferred Qualifications IPO experience strongly preferred Experience in healthcare, orthopedic spine, medical devices, biologics, or life sciences Background working with venture backed or private equity backed companies Experience with mergers, acquisitions, licensing, or public market readiness MBA or advanced business degree preferred Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Revenue growth across portfolio companies Capital raised and strategic partnerships secured Portfolio company operational performance Enterprise value growth Successful commercialization initiatives Organizational scalability and execution efficiency Investor relationship development and retention Core Competencies Strategic leadership Operational execution Business development Capital raising Relationship management Entrepreneurial thinking Organizational development Communication and negotiation Innovation driven leadership Financial and strategic acumenPay:
