Job Description
The Regional Director serves as both a strategic and hands-on leader accountable for the success, expansion, and quality outcomes of the urgent care service line. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is instrumental in shaping the direction and long-term success of urgent care operations by promoting operational efficiency, maintaining regulatory adherence, and cultivating a patient-focused, high‑quality care environment. The Director oversees a team of territory managers and partners closely with cross‑functional teams to align strategic priorities, improve key performance indicators, and support the successful opening and ongoing operation of urgent care clinics. The ideal candidate is a proactive, outcome-oriented leader with deep expertise in healthcare operations and a strong drive for innovation and continuous enhancement. Key Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Design and implement strategic initiatives that support enterprise-wide objectives. Apply forward-looking vision to stimulate growth and innovation within urgent care. Partner with senior leadership to assess opportunities and define strategic direction. Operational Excellence Provide operational oversight of urgent care services to ensure high performance and quality standards. Manage external partners and vendors to ensure effective service delivery. Develop, interpret, and utilize dashboards and KPIs to track and improve operational performance. Financial Management Prepare and oversee budgets in alignment with organizational financial strategies. Conduct financial reviews and clearly present findings and recommendations to leadership. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight Maintain working knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal healthcare regulations. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Communication and Collaboration Demonstrate strong relationship-building skills across departments and stakeholder groups. Clearly communicate initiatives, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and board members. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Stay informed on emerging industry trends and apply best practices to operations. Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experience and service quality. Talent Development Lead the onboarding, training, and development of operations leadership personnel. Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance among staff. Analytical and Data‑Driven Decision Making Regularly evaluate operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities. Utilize data insights to guide sound and timely decision-making. Adaptability and Resilience Effectively manage urgent or crisis situations, including non‑traditional work hours. Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving care environments. Physical and Environmental Considerations Be available for travel and on‑site engagement as required. Understand and manage potential exposure to patient-related risks and infectious conditions.
Pay:
$85,213.80 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:
