Job Description:
Head of Freight, USA Houston, TX | $150,000 - $180,000 | On-site | Director A freight forwarder is looking for someone to lead its US air and ocean business from Houston. This is a full P&L role, and the focus is growth. The role Own the US forwarding P&L across air and ocean, with targets for gross profit growth. Lead operations, sales and station management across the country. Set the carrier buying strategy and manage margin. Build the team and structure needed to grow the US business. Report to the board on performance and pipeline. You'll fit if You have at least 10 years in international freight forwarding, including leadership at country or regional level. You have grown revenue and gross profit in air and ocean before. You understand NVOCC/FMC and customs (CHB) compliance. You know the US market and bring a network with you. On offer $150,000 to $180,000 base, plus a performance bonus tied to the P&L. Full benefits, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. This is a confidential search handled through us.
