Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Operations (East) to lead and oversee all operational activities throughout the Eastern region. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives within a fast-paced dewatering and fluid management environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of executive leadership within the dewatering, pumping, fluid management, bypass, environmental services, or heavy civil construction industries . This individual will be responsible for leading multiple branch operations, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects and customers. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute regional operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Provide leadership and direction to Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Project Managers, and field leadership teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, performance, and operational excellence. Operations Management Oversee all Eastern Region operations, including field services, equipment deployment, project execution, and branch performance. Ensure efficient utilization of pumps, filtration systems, bypass equipment, power generation assets, and supporting resources. Standardize operational processes and best practices across all locations. Monitor project performance and ensure successful execution of complex dewatering and fluid management projects. Financial & P&L Responsibility Maintain full regional P&L ownership and accountability. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and operational plans. Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization. Drive profitability through improved resource allocation, utilization, and operational efficiencies. Safety & Compliance Champion a safety-first culture throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with all environmental, regulatory, health, and safety requirements. Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding water discharge, groundwater management, and environmental controls. Lead risk management initiatives and incident prevention programs. Business Growth & Customer Support Partner closely with Sales and Business Development teams to support major opportunities and strategic accounts. Participate in customer meetings, project scoping, and proposal development for large-scale projects. Provide operational expertise during contract negotiations and project planning. Strengthen customer relationships through exceptional execution and service delivery. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams. Build succession plans and leadership development programs. Establish performance expectations and accountability measures across the organization. Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the dewatering, fluid management, pumping, bypass, environmental services, or heavy civil construction industries. Demonstrated success managing multi-location operations and large field service organizations. Strong financial acumen with experience managing regional P&Ls and operational budgets. Deep understanding of dewatering systems, groundwater control, bypass pumping, filtration systems, and temporary fluid management solutions. Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Experience leading operations within a rental-based equipment business. Background supporting municipal, industrial, infrastructure, pipeline, environmental, or construction projects. Executive leadership experience in a high-growth or private equity-backed environment.
