Competitive base salary + performance incentives + long-term growth opportunity About the Opportunity We are a growing outdoor home services company seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations, strengthen execution, and support strategic growth throughout the San Antonio market. This role is ideal for a leader with strong operational management experience and a track record of scaling service-based businesses through process improvement, team development, operational accountability, and market expansion strategies. The ideal candidate understands how to build structure, drive performance, and create premium customer experience while helping position the business for continued growth. Experience working within affluent residential markets and maintaining relationships with luxury home builders, outdoor living providers, landscape architects, property managers, or similar industry partners is highly valued. This is an opportunity for a hands-on operator who enjoys building strong teams, improving operational efficiency, and helping grow an established business with a strong market foundation. Position Overview The General Manager will oversee day-to-day business operations with a primary focus on field execution, operational performance, customer experience, team leadership, and organizational efficiency. This individual will play a key leadership role in maintaining operational excellence, improving scalability, and strengthening the company's presence within the San Antonio market. The right candidate combines strong business acumen with the ability to lead teams, improve systems, and drive accountability across the organization. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead daily operations across field teams and service delivery functions Improve operational systems, workflow efficiency, scheduling coordination, and service consistency Establish and monitor performance metrics related to productivity, service quality, retention, and operational efficiency Create scalable operational processes that support long-term growth Ensure compliance with company standards, licensing requirements, and safety procedures Maintain high standards of execution across all aspects of service delivery Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop field personnel and operational staff Build a culture centered on accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-performing team members Conduct regular performance evaluations, operational meetings, and team development initiatives Strengthen communication and operational alignment across departments Strategic Growth & Market Presence Support growth initiatives through relationship-building and local market engagement Identify opportunities to strengthen recurring revenue and customer retention Develop and maintain relationships within high-end residential and outdoor living markets Support ownership in executing long-term operational and expansion strategies Monitor competitive positioning and local market opportunities Customer Experience Ensure a premium customer experience aligned with high-end residential clientele Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently Maintain strong service quality, responsiveness, and customer retention standards Reinforce the company's reputation for professionalism and reliability within the market Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in home services, outdoor services, pest control, landscaping, pool services, HVAC, or similar route-based industries Proven experience leading operations and improving organizational performance within a service-based business Strong operational management, leadership, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to build structure, improve processes, and lead teams through growth Experience working within luxury residential markets or alongside custom home builders, outdoor living providers, or related industries strongly preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive results High level of professionalism, accountability, and operational discipline What We Offer Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives Opportunity to lead and help grow an established business Significant autonomy and leadership responsibility Long-term advancement potential within a growth-focused organization Collaborative ownership team committed to operational excellence and growth Ideal Candidate Profile You are: A strong operator who thrives on improving systems and execution Highly organized, accountable, and team-oriented Comfortable leading people and driving operational performance Relationship-driven and experienced working in affluent residential markets Motivated by growth, leadership, and long-term business success
