Job Description

Linde Inc. Sustainability Development Manager The Woodlands, TX, United States | req29861 What you will enjoy doing• Lead sustainability strategy for U.S. HyCO assets (hydrogen, CO, CO2) and use it to drive business growth Advise customers and internal teams across the full project lifecycle, from early discussions through contracting, execution, and operations Use sustainability to shape business development strategy, including certifications, incentives, and market positioning Engage with government and public stakeholders to stay ahead of regulatory changes and incentive opportunities Identify and secure low-carbon and biogenic feedstock sourcing strategies Oversee certification and incentive requirements, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and integration into contracts and projects Represent Linde as the sustainability lead with customers and support commercial negotiations and proposals Partner with internal teams (regions, product management, tax, project execution, operations, and corporate sustainability) to align strategy, track incentives, and support decarbonization efforts What makes you great Apply global certification standards (e.g., ISCC, RFNBO, SCS, CFR) to support customers using CO2, H2, and atmospheric gases across industries Navigate and apply U.S. customer incentives such as 45Z, 48E, LCFS, and RINs Support global incentive programs, including H2Global, Japanese CfD, CFR, and CBAM Manage U.S. and Canada incentives for Linde, including 45Q, 45V, and CCS ITC Develop and execute practical approaches to secure certifications and qualify for incentives Serve as the primary contact with external consultants and certification bodies Maintain strong relationships with sustainability counterparts at key customer organizations Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering with 8+ years of experience in sustainability or hydrogen, syngas, or CO2, and a proven track record leading complex projects Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
