Duties Help Serve as the principal deputy to the Chief Opering Officer of ODNI. Oversee, administer, coordine, integre, and evalue the efforts of administrive operional areas to identify specific requirements and to plan and schedule for actions needed to meet those requirements. Lead, manage, and direct a professional-level staff, evalue performance, collabore on goal setting, and provide feedback and guidance regarding personal and professional development opportunities. Provide day-to-day management and direction of component staffs and business operions; execute budget, personnel, and policy decisions to support the components' activities. Lead and manage a professional staff in successfully defining and managing complex programs and projects th may include ill-defined requirements, ambiguity, parallel tasks, multiple dependencies, high risks, and multiple interfaces; ensure timelines, costs, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved according to approved plans. Initie and manage programmic and budget requirements th underwrite the daily operions. Interact with Congressional and OMB oversight staffs to justify planned expenditures and future budget requests. Provide guidance and direction on most administrive and support operions across the ODNI enterprise as well as to component-level Chiefs of Staff and Front Of?ce staffs on a variety of component-wide programs and ODNI initiives. Develop and oversee the implemention of management guidance and policy to ODNI Components; coordine internal operions, external management, and policy initiives to ensure alignment with key corpore priorities. Develop and evalue project proposals and annual action plans to determine the impact on current resources and to support resource forecasting and reviews. Serve as an Original Classificion Authority for ODNI in accordance with Executive Order 12333. Maintain effective and productive working relionships across the entire ODNI organizion and within the IC elements to address issues th span multiple mission or program areas. Manage corpore communicions ensuring workforce awareness of IC, ODNI, and organizional programs, initiives, requirements, and other opportunities. Serve as the primary adjudicion authority for employee dispute resolution, disciplinary review panels, and other administrive board actions.
