Honeywell Federal Solutions (HFS), a Gold Business Enterprise (GBE), is responsible for the oversight and execution of Honeywell's contracts supporting the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and other federal agencies and allied government customers. HFS delivers advanced engineering, manufacturing, operational, and technical capabilities supporting high-hazard, mission-critical national security missions. The position will work on-site at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) in Radford & Dublin, Virginia, and reports directly to the President, RFAAP, and/or the Vice President & General Manager, Federal Solutions.

Position Summary:

The Business Director at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) serves as the senior business executive responsible for the integrated business, financial, contractual, operational performance, and strategic execution of the RFAAP program in support of the U.S. Army and the national defense mission. Operating within a government-owned, contractor-operated (GOCO) defense-industrial manufacturing environment, the Business Director functions as a General Manager/CFO/Program Executive hybrid leader responsible for integrating program finance, contracts, estimating, analytics, capital planning, modernization strategy, operational performance management, and enterprise business systems across the full Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). This role provides executive-level leadership across business operations supporting Production, Plant Support, Compliance (ESH&Q), Modernization, and Strategic Growth functions to ensure delivery of cost, schedule, performance, safety, compliance, and mission objectives. The Business Director serves as the primary business partner to the President and executive leadership team, providing strategic financial insight, operational business leadership, affordability analysis, modernization prioritization, investment planning, and decision-quality analytics supporting enterprise execution and long-term mission success. The role requires demonstrated leadership experience operating in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments with significant government contracting complexity, financial accountability, operational integration, modernization planning, and cross-functional business leadership.
