Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Bid Coordinator for a temporary opportunity supporting K-12 construction and public works projects in Mira Loma, CA. This role is ideal for a construction administration, proposal, or estimating support professional who enjoys organizing deadlines, managing bid documentation, coordinating with subcontractors, and helping project teams submit accurate, compliant proposals. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with preconstruction, estimating, and project management teams in a fast-paced construction environment. This opportunity offers exposure to public works procurement, educational facility projects, and bid management processes that are essential to successful project awards. Candidates who enjoy teamwork, structured processes, supportive leadership, and contributing to high-impact infrastructure and school construction projects will find this role especially rewarding. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track K-12 school district bidding opportunities, RFQs, RFPs, addenda, and proposal deadlines.
  • Maintain bid calendars, proposal schedules, bid logs, databases, and organized electronic files.
  • Prepare, assemble, and review bid packages, qualification statements, compliance forms, and proposal submissions.
  • Coordinate required documentation, including certifications, licenses, bonds, insurance, and public works compliance materials.
  • Solicit subcontractor and supplier participation, distribute bid documents, track quotes, and support follow-up communication.
  • Assist estimating and project management teams with documentation, contract execution, and project turnover materials after award. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $22 to $24 per hour.
