Job Title:
Construction AdministratorJob Summary:
The Construction Administrator provides administrative and operational support for construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role helps ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and properly documented by coordinating contracts, project files, communications, schedules, and compliance-related paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to project managers, superintendents, and construction teamsMaintain project files, contracts, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and other construction documentationTrack project schedules, deadlines, and deliverablesCoordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clientsAssist with bid documents, proposals, and contract administrationPrepare reports, meeting notes, and project correspondenceMonitor insurance certificates, permits, lien waivers, and compliance documentationProcess invoices, purchase orders, and other project-related financial paperworkSupport project closeout by organizing final documents, warranties, and punch list itemsMaintain accurate records in project management systems and spreadsheetsHelp ensure documentation is complete and aligned with company and project requirements
