Job Summary The Manager of Network Contracts negotiates managed care agreements to support the Pediatric System of Care and develops specific strategies for new and renewing contractual relationships. Conducts contract performance review and analysis; organizes interdepartmental teams to implement managed care agreements. Oversees resolution of associated operational issues and participate in the development of contract management infrastructure. Pay Range Minimum $104,832 Midpoint $138,902 Maximum $172,973 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience Required:
Minimum five (5) years of experience with contracts and managed care.
Preferred:
Over seven (7) years' experience with contracts and managed care. Previous management experience.
Education Required:
BA/BS degree in related field or in place of a degree, seven (7) years relevant experience.
Preferred:
MBA or equivalent/ HFMA managed care certification.
Training Required:
Training in managed care.
Specialized Skills Required:
Knowledge of contract negotiation, contract legal review and analytical/financial analysis. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Excellent analytical and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction.
