LP Job Summary:
This role serves as a Deal Desk Controller supporting Adobe's Creativity & Productivity (C&P) business with a focus on Public Sector/government customers. The position leads first-line deal approvals, contract creation, and transaction structuring to accelerate sales cycles while ensuring compliance with company policies and US government regulations. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic business partner to Sales teams, working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead first-line approvals for Deal approval process as a fiduciary Analyze and structure sales transactions to accelerate deal closure Act as the initial point of contact for Sales reps requiring non-standard deal structures Review, interpret, and confirm contract terms and conditions Draft, modify, and finalize contracts including new and add-on business Ensure deals align to company policies and comply with internal and external regulations Meet with Sales teams to identify government customers' critical business issues Structure transactions that meet both Adobe's and customer requirements Support Public Sector activities including pricing, review and approval for offers, contract management, and providing support to field sales for quoting purposes Communicate deal value to corporate partners (Finance, Product Business Units, Professional Services, Legal, Licensing, Credit, Order Management, and Revenue Assurance) Forecast deal status and communicate updates to FP&A and executive sales management Resolve day-to-day queries from Sales, Sales Development, and Account Management teams using quoting tools and/or CRM systems May support sales enablement group Resolve problems through research and consulting with internal support teams Review and approve deals for the company's customers and prospects
Must-Have Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field Proven ability as a financial analyst and business partner, including experience supporting a Sales organization Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, accounting, and advanced Excel skills Excellent oral/written communication skills Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders Experience in structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
