CONTRACTS ADMIN - DRY DOCK - OAHU
(Regular Full Time)
Location:
HDCC DHO JV
is joint venture between contractors, Dragados, Hawaiian Dredging Construction, Co., and Orion Government Services. This collaboration aims to develop a new dry dock for the Governments Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, working on important marine infrastructure projects with NAVPAC Pacific.
JOB OVERVIEW
Assist with prime contract administration, new job set up, process subcontractor drafts for internal review and signature, bonding support, process certificates of insurance, assist with insurance administration, assist General Counsel with administrative duties, filing, audits.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support operations in processing subcontractors certificates of insurance, subcontract agreements, process contract documents utilizing DocuSign workflow, provide field personnel with pending or delinquent subcontract documents, initiate subcontract payments, upload and maintain documents in the electronic filing system. Support the estimating department in doing subcontractor background checks and maintain pre-qualification data base. Provide administrative support in maintaining company database with subcontractor information.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of construction and engineering terminology. General knowledge of construction insurance and bonding terminology. Basic mathematical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with DocuSign, Textura CPM and Textura PQM. Able to work with well with others. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of administrative experience working in an office setting.
