Duties Help This position is loced in the Office of Investigions As an Interniona l Trade Specialist, you will perform a variety of duties designed to encourage professional growth and development, through a variety of experiences, including the collection, compilion, analysis, and presention of da reled to internional trade in products under investigion, and the U.S. industries affected by th trade. You will perform short and medium-term projects reled to tasks assigned to higher-graded internional trade analysts. Specifically, under the guidance of a supervisory investigor or an investigor, you will assist in collecting and/or assessment of informion relevant to import injury proceedings, the resolution of which will, in most instances, have a significant impact on internional trade in the subject merchandise, as well as the domestic industry producing those products. You will conduct qualitive and quantitive research and analysis utilizing a variety of sources and tools, including MS Excel. You will also assist in the analysis and presention of da in such a way as to be of maximum use to the Commission. You will also participe in preparing preliminary interpretive reports and using computer applicions in investigive research in support of import injury investigions. You may also conduct targeted research on internional trade issues and topics, including summarizing findings through written products and perform other reled duties as assigned.
