Construction Administrator - Vero Beach, Florida Barth Construction Company Vero Beach, FL Job Details Full-time From $22 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Schedule management Construction industry experience Contracts Construction administrative experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Administrator to oversee office administration, permitting, and contractual operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between field teams, subcontractors, and clients by managing project documentation, processing billing, and ensuring compliance with building regulations to keep the project on schedule and within budget. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, team members, and building officials. Responsibilities Assist the construction team by performing general administrative duties Communicate directly with clients, designers, subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers Coordinate office communications (phones, emails, mail, deliveries, calendars) Apply for building permits, track permits, and schedule inspections with county officials (familiar with IRC MGO inspection system) Manage office equipment and order office supplies
Document Control:
  • Process and distribute bid invitations, plans, and contract documents to subcontractors.
  • Manage, track, and request current subcontractor insurance certificates.
  • Manage and maintain filing systems Assist the accounting department with research, processing/entering invoices, check release, and lien release procurement
Project Closeout:
Assemble final project packages, including equipment warranties, and maintenance agreements for each completed project Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Gemini Accounting Software experience a plus Exceptional multitasking, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills Maintain discretion and confidentiality 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in construction administration, contract management, or project coordination in the construction/engineering industry Drug testing is required

From $22.00 per hour
