Job Description

Overview Are you ready for your next challenge? The Vendor Contracts Administrator/Attorney is responsible for managing and overseeing contractual agreements between the Company and its vendors. This role supports the review, negotiation, execution, and administration of vendor contracts, helping to mitigate risk and ensure alignment with legal, business, and organizational requirements. Contract Review and Administration Review, draft, and edit vendor contracts submitted by internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and appropriate risk mitigation Coordinate contract review, approval, and execution processes in accordance with Company policies Standard Agreements and Playbooks Maintain and update standard form agreements, templates, and negotiation playbooks Ensure consistency in contract language and positioning across vendor agreements Negotiation Support and participate in negotiations with vendors to achieve commercially reasonable and mutually beneficial terms Escalate legal or risk-related issues as appropriate Stakeholder Collaboration and Service Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide timely contract support Develop and maintain clear processes and response protocols for contract submissions, demonstrating a strong customer-service mindset Communication Clearly communicate contract terms, obligations, and risks to internal stakeholders and, as needed, external parties Serve as a point of contact for contract-related questions throughout the contract lifecycle Reporting and Metrics Track contract workflow, cycle times, and key metrics to support workload management and continuous process improvement The Benefits... A legal background is often preferred 5 years' work experience in contract administration/law, preferably vendor contracts Possession of relevant certifications, such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), may be advantageous Understanding of contract law and relevant legal principles is crucial Precision in reviewing and drafting contracts to avoid errors and ambiguities Ability to engage in effective and fair negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes that comply with legal and organizational requirements Capability to manage and prioritize multiple contracts and deadlines Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, is essential Ability to issue spot, assess risks, and make informed decisions in the best interest of the organization Familiarity with artificial intelligence and other relevant software/tools Understanding of business operations and industry dynamics Physical Demands /
