OBJECTIVE
The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized AMP Contract Specialist to manage farmer contracting activities associated with a USDA Amplifying Markets for Producers (AMP) grant program. This position will coordinate closely with Soil and Water Outcomes Fund field staff and farmer participants to facilitate timely contract distribution, execution, tracking, and record management. The AMP Contract Specialist will play a key role in ensuring an efficient and positive farmer enrollment experience while maintaining accurate contract documentation and supporting program compliance requirements. This is a grant-funded position with anticipated funding through five years. This position reports to the AMP Program Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage contract execution processes for hundreds of farmer participants across multiple states Coordinate distribution, collection, tracking, and storage of farmer contracts and related documentation Maintain accurate and organized contract records within agricultural data management platforms and internal systems Collaborate closely with Soil and Water Outcomes Fund field staff to support farmer enrollment and ensure a positive participant experience Communicate directly with farmers regarding contract requirements, deadlines, signatures, and follow-up actions Maintain knowledge of USDA regulations and grant requirements related to farmer participation in USDA-funded programs Monitor contract completion status and proactively identify and resolve outstanding issues or missing documentation Support internal reporting, audit preparation, and compliance documentation efforts related to farmer contracts Assist with process improvements to increase contracting efficiency, accuracy, and participant satisfaction Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and participating farmers

WORK LOCATION/TRAVEL
This position will be based in Ankney, Iowa. Limited travel is expected with this position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibility
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field. Demonstrated experience in relationship management and working with diverse stakeholders, preferably in the agricultural or environmental sector. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively. Capable of working in a team environment while working independently to achieve specific project deliverables .
PREFFERED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices, conservation, and environmental stewardship. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, assertiveness, and ability to drive results. Strong understanding of Midwest cropping systems and conservation practices.
