Job Description

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to support marketing, communications, and business development efforts in our Jacksonville, FL office. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented marketer who enjoys collaborating with technical professionals and contributing to strategic growth initiatives across multiple markets and geographies. The Senior Proposal Specialist will play a key role in developing compelling marketing materials, supporting proposal efforts, managing content, and strengthening Hanson's brand presence. This position supports both day-to-day marketing operations and long-term strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Senior Proposal Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support proposal and qualification development, including content organization, writing, editing, formatting, and coordination across teams Collaborate with technical staff and market leaders to develop resumes, project descriptions, and marketing narratives Assist with the preparation of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, infographics, and case studies Maintain and organize marketing databases, resumes, project information, and templates Support content creation and updates for digital platforms, internal communications, and external marketing channels Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all marketing materials Assist with the coordination of award submissions, conference materials, and client-facing communications Track deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Support special marketing initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned This is a non-exempt position. The hourly range is $30 - $40 per hour, depending on experience. We feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services, A/E/C, or consulting environments Experience working with FDOT preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent editing and proofreading abilities Experience supporting proposals or client-facing marketing materials is highly desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
