Job Description

Summit School Services companies share a strong commitment to provide the highest level of transportation safety, quality transportation, outstanding customer service and positive employee relations. Our corporate headquarters, located in Warrenville, Illinois, houses the administrative and corporate support functions for the organization. Our 250+ local customer service centers (CSCs) are supported by regional operations teams located throughout North America.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates who are in the post-offer process until all the pre-employment qualifications have been completed satisfactorily. Ensure seamless and speedy transition of candidates through the post-offer process. Schedule pre-employment screening and answer candidate questions. Manage high volume candidate communication via phone, email, and text. Track candidate progress and communicate updates to various internal customers and stakeholders.
Pre-Employment Hiring Process:
Ensure all phases of the pre-employment hiring process are successfully completed per company standards. Evaluate and adjudicate applicant background checks requiring adjudication Work directly with vendors and vendor systems to track the status of background check progress. Interface with operations leaders and field recruiters to interpret and explain background check results.
Training and Analysis:
Participate in hiring process training to ensure knowledge of federal, state, and company hiring criteria. Analyze pre-employment hiring data and make recommendations to operations partners. Respond to CSC pre-employment hiring questions and resolve issues as appropriate.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage candidate 'status' in multiple technologies to reflect progress
Productivity Targets:
Review all candidates in process each day. Work to get all candidates ready to be hired in 14 days from their accepted offer.
Other Duties:
Perform all other duties as assigned. The hourly wage is $25/hour for this role. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience doing this or similar work Previous experience in HR or a similar role. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company hiring criteria. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
