Position Overview:
- CMTA has an immediate need for an experienced
- Senior Construction Administrator
- to join our diverse team of engineering professionals in our Indianapolis office. This position will be responsible for managing project specifications and overseeing contract and construction documents. This is a full-time, in-office/job site position with working hours Monday through Friday, offering opportunities for professional growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- + Ensure compliance with project contract language, current code requirements, and current manufacturer information + Assist with construction administration document processing activities, including shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and closeout documents + Perform preliminary reviews of submittals and incorporate comments from the design team in final responses + Prepare preliminary answers for RFIs and incorporate comments from the design team in the final responses + Perform onsite construction inspections to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contract documents and to resolve conflicts.
Desired Experience:
- + Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related field preferred but not required + 10+ years of experience as a design engineer or construction administration professional or skilled tradesperson + Proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel + Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems such as Newforma or Procore + Demonstrated capability in coordinating with multiple design team members to manage construction related correspondence + High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks + Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and understand internal customer expectations + Ability to manage schedules to meet critical deadlines \#LI-CC1 #LI-Onsite •About Legence•Legence (https://www.
