Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision activities, including completion of performance goals and reviews, assigning work scope to employees, reviewing and approving timecards, and ensuring employees operate according to company policies and procedure s Develop employee skills and evaluate employee performance on assigned responsibilities, including: Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and analysis; support and guidance to PMs and CAMs; analysis and preparation of cost and schedule reports; development, analysis and review of EACs; variance analysis research and reporting; and reconciliations to SA P Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audit s Responsible for ensuring contract deliverables are completed and submitted on a timely manner (CFSR, CSDR, IPMR, CWBS ) Focus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services, accountability and team performance . Ensure team fully understands their roles and impact on financial result s Act as the primary interface with the program office, functional leadership, and external auditing agencies regarding EVMS related tasks/efforts, requirements, issues, analysis, and performance measure s Support proposal preparation, fact-finding and contract negotiations as needed to ensure cost management issues are represente d Act as primary point of contact with customer counterpart, and maintain a positive working relationship to improve communication and stay on top of any potential cost and/or schedule issue s Perform in a fast paced, frequently changing, and demand driven environmen t Ability to travel up to 10% as business needs dictat e This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Wichita, KS, location Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related fiel d 5+ years of related accounting, business, and/or finance experienc e 2+ years of experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and/or risk assessments to leadership team s Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship ) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Acces s Master's degree in business (MBA ) Experience leading a team, either as a lead, functional manager, or matrix manage r Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and financial analysi s Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. MPM or Cobra), SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting principle s Strong analytical skill s Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense programs and familiarity with Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) and/or Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR ) Advanced proficiency in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) such as Deltek Cobra and MPM, and accounting systems such as SA P Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audi t

Summary Pay Range:
$95,520- $146,050
Kansas Tax Credit:

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
