Research Proposal Development Specialist III Tulane University - 4.0 New Orleans, LA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Administrative experience Budget preparation Grant budget preparation Full Job Description The Research Proposal Development Officer will function as part of a university-wide research proposal development team to assist faculty in the preparation and submission of federal grant proposals. Reporting to the Director of Research Proposal Development in the Office of Research, the Research Proposal Development Officer will provide administrative coordination and proposal development support for faculty primarily in the areas of physical and biological sciences, medicine, public health, engineering, information and computer sciences and social sciences. The Research Proposal Development Officer serves an important and highly visible role in a demanding, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Minimum Qualification:
Master's degree and three years of successful research budget and proposal development or related experience in a science communication field, including extensive writing and administrative expertise OR Bachelor's degree and six years of successful research budget and proposal development or related experience in a science communication field, including extensive writing and administrative expertise
Preferred Qualification:
Experience in the academic environment preferred.
