The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient contract Order Management Analyst to serve as the operational engine of our sales process. Reporting to the Order Management Activity Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end integrity of customer purchase orders across multiple lines of business. In this fast-paced role, you will ensure that manual and electronic orders are processed with 24-hour precision, maintaining the critical data that keeps our global supply chain moving.Essential Functions Order Execution:
Track and process incoming customer purchase orders via Baan for both manual and EDI transactions, ensuring sales and purchase orders are generated within 24 hours.Data Integrity:
Monitor and maintain the "Item Master" in Baan to ensure all orders meet Business Plan Review requirements and corporate standards.Discrepancy Resolution:
Act as a liaison between customers, Sales, and Purchasing to resolve order discrepancies, retaining all necessary documentation for audit compliance.System Management:
Manage new customer delivery addresses, verify GSDB codes, and update routing, broker, and contact information to ensure record accuracy.Agile Amendments:
Execute requested amendments for costs, pricing, part numbers, and quantities within strict 24-hour turnaround times.Operational Excellence:
Establish and document work procedures to improve efficiency, participate in peer reviews of system data, and ensure all electronic filing meets ISO retention standards.Specialized Support:
Coordinate billable/sample depot orders and manage shipper information for specialized programs, such as the special markets scrap program. Qualifications We are looking for a professional who thrives on accuracy and meeting high-performance objectives. To be successful, you will typically possess: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training in order management, operations, or a related systems-heavy role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with ERP systems (Baan preferred) and a high level of comfort managing complex data across multiple platforms. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a professional office environment.
