Job DescriptionJob Description RemX is seeking Reinsurance Agents in Fremont MI. The Reinsurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate administration, processing, and reconciliation of reinsurance transactions for Life insurance products.

Month Contracted Role Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Key Responsibilities Review, analyze, and correct rejected or failed reinsurance transactions; partner with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. Match new policies to existing client records, ensuring accurate linkage, resolving discrepancies, and monitoring for potential overages. Process workflow updates, including policy changes, client data updates, and finalized claim documentation. Enter, validate, and adjust claim-related financial transactions, including expenses, prorations, and billing to reinsurers. Review policy activity (e.g., new business, terminations, and adjustments) to ensure correct application of reinsurance coverage in accordance with treaty terms. Identify, investigate, and correct billing discrepancies resulting from policy changes or data inconsistencies. Monitor for over-retention situations and initiate corrective actions, collaborating with Underwriting, Policy Administration, and other departments as needed. Ensure compliance with internal policies, reinsurance agreements, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance, Reinsurance, or Finance/Accounting/Audit Experience researching and resolving complex financial or operational issues Experience with TAI (The Administration Interface) system or similar insurance administration platforms Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and sound decision-making LOMA designations or experience in Accounting or Finance Attention to Detail Financial Acumen Company DescriptionThe professional staffing division of
