Job Description

This job description provides a baseline explanation of the requirements an employee is expected to meet for the duration they are in this position for Williams Construction. Exempt - Salary Status Job title Contract Administrator Reports to Project Accountant Job purpose This position oversees the contracts for the Company. Preparing Owner and Subcontractor agreements, initiating process for new vendors and due date reporting. Duties and responsibilities Contract Administration Create, issue, and track Prime Contracts between Williams Construction and Clients Draft Prime contracts as required Create and maintain sub-contract agreements and commitments for each project. Track and follow up with subcontractors regarding master subcontractor agreements. Create commitments within Sage Project Management and Procore. Create and maintain purchase orders for projects. Compliance and Risk Management Gather, track, and maintain performance and payment bonds for projects Update and track certificates of insurance (COI's) and follow up on expired certificates Track and follow up with subcontractors on outstanding lien waivers and second-tier affidavits. Work with the legal team to ensure contracts are compliant and protect company interests. Project Documentation & Reporting Collect, organize and distribute project closeout documentation Maintain contract logs and tracking spreadsheets Generate and distribute reports related to contracts and commitments Create and maintain spreadsheets and documentation as needed for project tracking. Administrative Support Assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned Provide operational support as needed Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school Diploma or GED required. A degree or diploma in business management preferred. 3-5 years of experience in office work, construction, or other related fields. Paralegal experience preferred. Sage and/or ProCore software experience preferred. Skills, Abilities and Knowledge Good computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft software, Excel, Word, Sage and other software as needed for this position Excellent multitasking skills Excellent communication skills Able to successfully follow verbal and written instructions A good team player Excellent attention to detail Able to adapt to change well Handles pressure well Pro-active thinking skills Working conditions Working conditions at Williams Construction may include normal office conditions, and occasionally lifting objects to waist height and overhead up to 25 pounds. Sitting for up to 8 hours and standing and walking for up to 4 hours. Physical requirements Lift and carry up to 25 pounds up to 30% of the time. When needed wear PPE, maintain a steady pace which may require lifting objects above and/or below the waist.

Must be able to hear to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers
Sitting:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Standing/Walking:
Must be able to move about worksite
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling:
Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products or materials
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Up to 30% Employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of this position's current regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas. Employee must meet the requirements of the full job description as stated throughout the duration of employment with Williams Construction. Condition of Employment Successful candidate may need to submit to random drug testing throughout employment and successfully pass a background check.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
