As a Work Package Owner, you'll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Construction Management- Electrical and I&C Work Package Owner in Wilson/Cary, NC who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. Some responsibilities will include:
Hosts weekly meetings with the Subcontractor and takes suitable notes. Aligns with Subcontract Administrator to ensure all items captured accurately. Distributes MM after each meeting to attendees Ensures that Subcontractor has latest version of all technical documents, including single lines and specifications, and other construction installation drawings Reviews all RFI's & submittals assuring completeness prior to Subcontractor submission. Monitors return of RFIs and Submittals from the Subcontractor, and expedites assistance from engineering disciplines as required Visits Subcontractor fabrication shops as required to expedite material deliveries and verify work in progress Works with Construction Management and field superintendent to ensure material deliveries are sequenced and coordinated Monitors Subcontractor's schedule on a weekly basis and escalates any issues to the ACM and Subcontracts Administrator, Works closely with the field superintendents, and project controls to track progress measurements Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree 10 years of experience in managing construction projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction. Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required. Demonstrated expert knowledge of EI&C Systems, to include Delta V and BMS and Medium Voltage Experience leading contractors and Superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and document drawings/specifications for construction execution. Ability to manage EI&C scopes of work from the initial Bid Phase, through Execution, turnover, and close out of the Subcontract Experience in monitoring project budgets to ensure project requirements are met. Ideally you'll also have: Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for EI&C related bid packages Liaise between Subcontracts Department and Engineering assuring that all Engineering requirements are met as they relate to the Bid Phase process along with any changes / additions to the Bid Phase documents. Works closely with the Subcontracts Administration team to identify bidders Attends any Pre-Bid, clarification and post-Bid meetings Develops a comprehensive Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), which should include risk, sustainability, and schedule input. Ensures technical bids conform to intent of Bid, including identification of gaps and any not yet bought and scope exceptions #LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience, #Construction #LI-SH1

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $111,500.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
