Contract Specialist Lott Med Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time $25 - $28 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Google Docs Mail distribution Mail management Mail processing Faxing Full Job Description The contract specialist oversees, implements, and monitors all aspects of insurance and third party contracts/licenses as well as acquires new contracts/licenses as requested by management. Complete compliance paperwork and keep all required documents and records up to date. Submit new contract requests to specified insurance companies or third party organizations Aggressively respond to denied requests for new contracts Oversee compliance with existing contracts with active state licenses, surety bonds and insurance Renew or apply for state licenses Negotiate fee schedules Process revalidations, renewals and re-credentialing requirements with established insurance contracts Reports to governing body all results of contracts approved or denied Keep records in spreadsheets/google docs with up to date notes on all contracts in process Participate in continuing education programs Process faxes, phone calls and other office duties as needed Process mail in accordance to company procedures
